The third Cardiff Web Scene Meet Up is scheduled for Wednesday June 4th at 10 Feet Tall in Cardiff. 10 Feet Tall can be found on Church Street, not too far from the Hayes, and we’re going to be on the top floor.
The Cardiff Web Scene Meet-Up is a great opportunity for anyone who is involved with or who has a professional interest in the web industry in South Wales. The aim of the event is to get together with other people with similar interests, find out what other companies are up to and hopefully come away having learnt something new and met some interesting people.
We’re going to kick things off at 6:30 pm and it’s free entry before 8:30.
Our speaker for the evening is Matthew Cashmore, Senior Research Producer for BBC Future Media & Technology, Research and Innovation who will be talking about 'BBC Backstage' and 'Mashed' at Alexandra Palace.
You'll also have the opportunity to sign up for the 'Cardiff Mashed Bus' which we will be organising for anyone who is interested in free transport to the event on June 21st
On top of the usual format, the night will round off with live music from Ridinghood and Suitcase. Entry to see the bands would usually be £3 per person but if you come along to the Meet-Up then you can stay on and watch the bands for free!
Entrance isn’t restricted to invitees or registered visitors, so if you know someone who may be interested in joining us, please bring them along!
